Spawn HVAC Simulation (2023)

This is a simulation of an air source heat pump heating up a thermal zone defined by EnergyPlus input files and CWEC weather data. Leveraging Spawn, a software package facilitating co-simulations with both Modelica and EnergyPlus, I have successfully computed the Coefficient of Performance (COP) of the heat pump while it maintains a set-point temperature of 19 degrees Celsius. Although this project is still in progress, I have successfully developed a functional prototype, as depicted below.
